Borghetto Calcinaia

Cinque Querce & Mezzo (five and a half oaks) which sits on the hillside of the Valtiberina is twenty minutes from us here.

Commanding spectacular views, with Anghiari to the North and Umbertide to the South, it is a traditional farmhouse but with all the modern essentials that Borghetto Calcinaia has to offer with the addition of air conditioning in two bedroms and the study, an authentic Roman wine cellar and an outside oven for pizza and bread.

The pool has probably one of the most beautiful situations in the Tiber Valley with a sundeck and three 100 year old olive trees for shade, surrounded by a mature garden with an orchard and olive groves.

Though slightly smaller than its sister Casa Mandorlo, it can comfortably sleep 7/8 adults.
